What is a Character Defect?
We all have habits, fears and behaviours that hold us back.
Some seek approval. Some push people away. Some hide behind confidence. Others struggle with honesty, control or fear.
These aren’t labels. They’re part of being human.
The Defect Series transforms those hidden struggles into conversation pieces, reminding us that growth begins with honesty.
The Collection
Each release explores a different defect.
DEFECT 001
“I mask my insecurities with charm and charisma.”
Sometimes confidence is genuine. Sometimes it’s armour.
Defect 001 explores the difference between appearing strong and truly feeling secure.
DEFECT 002
“I manipulate others to get what I want.”
Manipulation isn’t always obvious. It can be driven by fear, control or insecurity.
Recognising it is the first step towards building healthier relationships.
DEFECT 003
“I’m special and unique — rules don’t apply to me.”
This defect is driven by ego.
It’s the belief that we’re somehow different from everyone else; that consequences don’t apply to us, or that our circumstances justify our actions.
Real freedom begins when we accept that we’re no better and no worse than anyone else.
Monthly Releases
The Defect Series is designed to grow over time.
Every month, a new defect will be added to the collection, exploring another habit, fear or behaviour that shapes who we are.
Each release follows the same format: a number, a statement and a conversation.
Some defects will feel uncomfortable. Some will feel familiar. Others may challenge the way we see ourselves.
The goal isn’t to shame or glorify our imperfections—it’s to recognise them, understand them and grow beyond them.
Because personal growth doesn’t happen all at once.
It’s a lifelong process, one defect at a time.
Why Numbers?
People often ask why each design is numbered.
Every piece carries a number because none of us has just one flaw.
The series is ongoing, just like personal growth.
There is no finish line.
As the collection grows, every defect follows exactly the same format, with a new release arriving each month.
